Subscription Terms
Everything you need to know about Nudge plans, billing, and your rights.
These Subscription Terms govern your purchase and use of a paid subscription to Nudge ("we", "us", "our"). By subscribing you agree to these terms.
1. Plans and what's included
Nudge is available on four subscription tiers:
- Flex — up to 5 members, 10 recurring tasks, 1space. Includes auto-rotation, skip & swap, basic analytics, and limited task templates.
- Harmony — up to 8 members, unlimited recurring tasks, 1space. Adds photo proof, streaks & badges, quiet hours, and all task templates. Includes everything in Flex.
- Flow — up to 10 members, unlimited tasks, 1 space, up to 5 groups, 500 MB photo storage, 10 CSV exports/month, 12-month analytics history. Adds weighted rotations, advanced analytics, CSV export, and historical tracking. Includes everything in Harmony.
- Circle — up to 15 members, unlimited tasks, 2 spaces, up to 8 teams, 1 GB photo storage, 50 CSV exports/month, 24-month analytics history. Adds multi-space management, role templates, org-level analytics, and priority support. Includes everything in Flow. (Coming soon.)
Feature availability may change over time. We will notify active subscribers of material reductions to included features with at least 30 days' notice.
2. Free trial
New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial on any paid plan. No payment is charged during the trial. Your subscription begins automatically at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it expires.
Trials are limited to one per customer. If you change to a different plan during your trial, your remaining trial days carry over to the new plan and you are not charged until the original trial end date. Once a trial has been used or expired, future plan changes start billing immediately and do not include a new trial.
3. Billing
Subscriptions are billed in advance — monthly, half-yearly, or annually — depending on the plan and channel you choose. By starting a paid subscription you authorise the relevant payment provider to charge your payment method at the start of each billing period until you cancel.
3.1 Web subscriptions (Stripe)
If you subscribe on web.nudgeworks.app, payment is processed by Stripe. Prices are shown in your local currency where supported (USD, INR, CAD, AUD, GBP, EUR). At checkout, Stripe displays the final amount you will pay, including any applicable VAT or sales tax for your billing country, before you confirm. Your Stripe invoice shows the same total.
3.2 Mobile subscriptions (Google Play and App Store)
If you subscribe in our Android or iOS app, payment is processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store, not Stripe. Store listings may show a pre-tax price; the platform often adds local taxes (such as VAT) at purchase, so the total shown in the store checkout can be higher than list prices on our website. Receipts, renewals, cancellations, and refunds for mobile purchases follow the store's terms and billing tools.
Annual plans are charged as a single upfront payment covering 12 months (or the stated period). You receive a discount compared to the equivalent monthly total where annual billing is offered.
4. Upgrades and downgrades
You may change your plan at any time from the subscription settings in the app. Upgrades take effect immediately; you are charged a pro-rated amount for the remainder of the current billing period. Downgrades take effect at the next billing date — no partial refund is issued for the current period.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time from the billing settings in your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to paid features until that date. We do not charge cancellation fees.
After the current billing period ends, your subscription ends and you will need an active subscription to continue using paid features. Your space data (tasks, members, history) is retained for 90 days after cancellation, after which it may be deleted. Note: If you choose to delete your account entirely, this 90-day period is overridden by our Account Deletion process, which includes a 30-day recovery window before permanent erasure.
If you cancel during a free trial, you keep trial features until the trial end date. If you reactivate before that date, the remaining trial is preserved. If the trial fully ends without reactivation, the trial does not carry over to a future subscription.
6. Promotions and referral discounts
From time to time we may offer promotional discounts, including discounts attributed to an ambassador referral. Unless stated otherwise at the time of the offer:
- Referral and promotional discounts apply to the first paid invoice only.
- We may set a time window for the offer. Where a window applies, it is shown alongside the offer and on your billing settings; once that window has passed the discount cannot be reinstated unless we say otherwise. We may change or end any promotion at any time without retroactive effect on already-applied discounts.
- Discounts are non-transferable, cannot be combined unless explicitly permitted, and have no cash value.
7. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our separate Refund Policy. In summary: subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started, with exceptions for accidental duplicate charges, annual plans within 14 days of the initial charge, and service unavailability caused by us.
8. Acceptable use
Your subscription is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate subscriptions that violate these policies without refund.
8. Account suspension by us
We may suspend or terminate your subscription if you violate these terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, or if your payment fails after reasonable retry attempts. Where suspension is due to non-payment, access is restored immediately upon successful payment.
9. Price changes
We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice before the change takes effect. Notice will be sent to the email address on your account. If you do not cancel before the new price takes effect, you are deemed to have accepted the change.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under the law of your country of residence.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
