What you are installing

Nudge is available as a Progressive Web App (PWA). That means you can install the website so it gets its own icon and opens in an app-like window.

You do not need the App Store for the PWA. A native iOS app is planned later, but the PWA works today.

Install on iPhone or iPad

On iOS and iPadOS, only Safari can install PWAs.

  1. Open Nudge in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button.
  3. Scroll through the share sheet and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Tap Add.

Nudge will appear on your home screen with its own icon. Open it from there for the app-like experience.

Install on Mac

On Mac, the exact wording depends on your browser.

  • Safari 17 or newer: use File or Share, then choose Add to Dock.
  • Chrome or Edge: look for the install icon in the address bar, or open the browser menu and choose Install Nudge.

After installation, Nudge opens in its own window and appears in your Dock or Applications list.

Install on Windows

On Windows, use Chrome or Edge.

  1. Open Nudge in your browser.
  2. Look for the install icon in the address bar, or open the browser menu.
  3. Choose Install Nudge.

After installation, Nudge can be pinned to your taskbar or opened from the Start menu.

If the install option is missing

Try these checks:

  • Make sure you are using Safari on iPhone or iPad.
  • On desktop, try Chrome, Edge, or Safari 17+.
  • Reload the page and wait a moment for the browser to detect the app.
  • If you are already running Nudge from your home screen, Dock, or Start menu, it may already be installed.

Native mobile app

The PWA is the fastest way to use Nudge like an app today. A real native iOS app will come later. Sign up at /get-nudge to be notified.
